My book, Yes/No Design started me on the road to photography. For the interiors and objects I shot I used 35mm film. Then I learned how to develop film and print in the darkroom at The Int’l Ctr of Photography and privately. All the black and white photos here were shot on film. In The Observer series, see the sprocket marks and Kodak #. When I transitioned to a digital camera, Photoshop replaced the darkroom. In Intersections, Place de la Republique/ Motorcycle is an example of my layering two images.
